Veterans Day parade at Tampa VA hospital

Tampa, Fla. – James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital and Clinics will host its seventh annual Veterans Day parade and classic car show on November 11 starting at 10 a.m. on the hospital campus.

A brief ceremony will be held in front of the Fisher House with the parade to follow immediately after.

The parade has 55 units confirmed and retired U.S. Army MAJ Robert Kilmartin, awarded the Bronze Star Medal and two Purple Heart Medals, will serve as this year’s grand marshal.

After the parade, Operation Helping Hand is sponsoring a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad and chips, and USF is sponsoring the desserts. Veterans, Service Members and their families can also enjoy a classic car show or register for benefits at the JAHVH Welcome Home event both before and after the parade.
